l found Reiki at a point when I really needed it - I was agitated all the time and just couldn't relax or sleep well. I cried gently through my first session, and was told that's a normal release of emotions that can happen during a session. It felt so good to be releasing what I didn't even know I was holding onto. 

That was many years ago. I took my first Reiki class soon after that session and started practicing on myself. I've since completed many classes, including my Reiki Master/Teacher training.  I am constantly looking at what Reiki class I want to do next, as there's always something new to learn. I love learning and helping others, so Reiki is a wonderful outlet for both. 

My mission now is to help others by offering that same quiet, comfortable space to relax and enjoy some self care.  We need to be well, to look after ourselves and others.
